Dukhiram Maurya Engineering & Refractory Works (I) Pvt. Ltd. completed a remarkable project involving the demolition of a Float Furnace. This ambitious endeavour encompassed the comprehensive demolition of complete refractory structures, including the Melter, Refiner, Float bath and 14 Regenerators. Simultaneously, managed the delicate salvage of all steel structures and ensured the safe removal of air ducts and the chimney.
The project’s scale and complexity demanded meticulous planning and execution, underlining Dukhiram Maurya Engineering’s expertise in handling large-scale demolition projects with precision. By integrating stringent safety protocols and advanced demolition techniques, Dukhiram successfully navigated the challenges inherent in such operations.
This monumental task was accomplished using state-of-the-art machinery such as Poclain excavators, Excavator Rock breakers, JCB breakers, JCB Pay Loaders, Farana, Bob Cat, Forklifts, boom lifts, and specialised tools like Core drills, Pneumatic breakers, and brick cutters tailored for the demolition of the Float bath.
Remarkably, the entire demolition process was completed in under 20 days, with our dedicated team working tirelessly around the clock, seven days a week. This relentless effort and commitment enabled us to meet this formidable challenge head-on and as per time target.
