The entire project – Demolition & rebuild was completed in a remarkable timeline of only 19 days, finishing 4 days ahead of the targeted 23-day schedule, eliminating long and costly shut down times and supporting our clients early production goals! This unprecedented turnaround represents the fastest furnace rebuild in SCHOTT’S company history.

Project Scope & Execution

1. Complete dismantling of – Melting tank, Arches, Working end, and All Regenerators.
2. Modifications & Erection of Steels.
3. Refractory Installation of Melting Tank, Arches, Working end & All Regenerators.
4. Erection of Wooden entering & it’s related carpentry operations.
5. Hot Sealing of Expansion gaps during Heat-up.
